- Well, in my experience with computers, *reasonable* has never really played
- much of a factor. IBM compatable PC's are by far the largest block of
- computers on desktops in the world and the technology behind them is old and
- kludgy. I've never owned anything but a PC, but I've used almost any system
- you can imagine. The only thing I've ever found that I detest more than my 10
- years of MS DOS experience is IBM's VMS. Yet, DOS/Windows thrives. I don't
- get it. Certainly ain't *reasonable*.

- The Amy was/is an excellent implementation of computer technology. But,
- elegance alone will never sell computers. The new Amy, if ESCOM is going to
- target anyone aside from old Amy users and DTV pros, will have to be cross
- platform compatable, user friendly, fast, upgradable, fast, inexpensive,
- networkable, fast, easy to invest money in, and it definitly must be very very
- fast.

- Imagine....PCI, PowerPC (or Alpha?), SCSI3, Mpeg on board, 8 megs of Chip Ram,
- 8 channel 16 bit audio, etc, etc, etc....and teh Amiga OS. Oh, and if I ever
- see that damned Amiga non-interlaced flicker again I'm going to barf.
